Today began with a lovely, sunny 9am breakfast of fresh strawberries and Triscuits (I highly recommend the Rosemary & Olive Oil kind). While I enjoy a decadent meal just as much as the next person, sometimes I really have to wonder if the simplest foods aren't the best after all.

While eating my breakfast and going about the business of setting up this blog, the doorbell rang. As fate would have it, a lovely pair of shoes arrived right on time from

Nature Breeze.
I saw them and couldn't resist! The fluffy pink bows are like dollops of strawberry cream on your toes. The hot pink box they came in belied the style of the shoes inside, but they were even more lovely in person!

I can't wait to pair them with my cream lace shoe liners with satin ties that wind around my ankles! I think I shall take them on a stroll to the park this week with my sketchbook in tow. With pretty shoes like these, it's hard to want to stay indoors!
